Lucy Acevedo, born in El Callao, the very centre of the criolla singing, expresses with ardour th ecoastal Peruvian music, soaked with African sounds and rythms. Since 1984, she has been performing in Latin America, then in the USA and in Europe, and is now superbly accompanied
with virtuoso musicians such as the guitar player Paco Chambi.
