Xhemali Berisha's deep, romantic voice, backed up by his experience (he worked as a singer for Radio Pristina from 1967 to 1971, when he became artistic director of one of Yugoslavia's national folk ensembles), makes him an ambassador of the finest of Albanian culture.
Living in Geneva since 1988, he now appears regularly with the Skaros Ensemble (clarinet, violin, lute and frame drums), thus pursuing his artistic career with accompanists of the highest quality.
